Throughout my career I have been actively involved as a pharmacy clinician, teacher, operations manager and corporate administrative executive in varying pharmacy practice settings including hospital, home health care and long term care pharmacy. I am a national pharmacy leader elected and appointed to local, state and national pharmacy professional leadership positions including President (2010) American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, President Nevada Society of Hospital Pharmacist, Board of Directors Member of American Society of Consultant Pharmacist, Long Term Care Pharmacy Alliance Member, National Council for Prescription Drug Programs Co-Chair, and Pharmacy Services Technical Advisory Coalition (PSTAC) member. I was a consultant to the Long Term Care Electronic Prescribing Pilot awarded by CMS and AHRQ.
I have expertise in all aspects of pharmacy reimbursement, compliance and regulatory processes including electronic pharmacy billing, return credits, Medicaid audits, Medicare Part A, B, and D, state boards of pharmacy regulations, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and HIPAA requirements. I have been published, served on national committees and have been asked to publicly speak on these subjects. My managerial experience includes direct management of more than 25 employees and profit/loss responsibility of a multi-million dollar revenue operation.
I have formulated and implemented strategic and tactical plans by successfully developing and implementing the KPS Government Affairs including federal and state advocacy in over 20 states, policy and web based grassroots programs; KPS Compliance Program and KPS HIPAA Program including being the KPS Corporate HIPAA Privacy Contact. I was an active corporate government relations and founding member of the Long Term Care Pharmacy Alliance (LTCPA) and a leader in the American Society of Consultant Pharmacist (ASCP) Government Affairs Committee and served as past chairman and board liaison.
I am proficient in numerous pharmacy systems; extensive experience in pharmacy operations and pharmacy profit/ loss analysis; experience in pharmacy personnel issues; experience in local/ state/ federal licensing and enforcement agencies; excellent communication skills; experience in preparing presentations with limited support; ability to work well under pressure; excellent time management skills; experience in team building; detailed knowledge of the pharmacy compliance including the JCAHO process; and experience in sales and marketing of pharmacy related services.

Dr. Quach is a certified geriatric pharmacist that specializes in long-term care, hospice, and ambulatory surgery center clinical, operational, and consulting practice. In addition, her other areas of focus include state and federal regulatory compliance and review and state Board of Pharmacy industry issues. Her formal training involves a doctorate of pharmacy from University of Southern Nevada College of Pharmacy and an Executive Residency in Association Management from the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). She is the author of numerous publications including the Ambulatory Surgery Center Handbook: A Guide for Consultant Pharmacists.
